Nicole Vlado is an artist, designer and third generation non-driver from New York City. As a graduate from MIT with a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Art and Design, Nicole received the Rosemary Grimshaw award for her thesis, "(re)collection: Bodies, Surfaces, and the Dispersed Home". She creates prints, sculpture, and performance pieces and her work has been exhibited at Anja Hitzenberger's Changing Room and Medialia Gallery in New York City, as well as Austin TX, Cambridge MA, and Tijuana, Mexico. She recently worked with Wura-Natasha Ogunji as a visual designer and performer in the theatrical productions "by a quiet sea" and "Incidents and the 22 Hotel".
