Nicole Vlado is an artist, designer and third generation non-driver from New York City. As a graduate from MIT with a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Art and Design, Nicole received the Rosemary Grimshaw award for her thesis, "(re)collection: Bodies, Surfaces, and the Dispersed Home". She creates prints, sculpture, and performance pieces and her work has been exhibited at Anja Hitzenberger's Changing Room and Medialia Gallery in New York City, as well as Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Tijuana, Mexico. She recently worked as a visual designer and performer in the theatrical performance of "by a quiet sea," a short play written by Wura-Natasha Ogunji.

She currently lives and works in Austin, TX.
